This should be fine to ask questions about the avast 4 server edition. There are a number of the Alwil team who monitor the forums, which is likely to be much quicker that the support path you have tried, although I’m surprised you haven’t had a response yet.
Do you have any form of anti-spam filter that may be deleting emails from avast.com ?
FWIW, I also e-mailed support and posted here in the forums. I found I never received a reply via e-mail, but, I did receive prompt and excellent info from the Alwil team. It’s no biggie that the e-mail didn’t get replied to…but, I still think it should be made clearer where you go for help with the “Avast managed client”. It seems to be a product without a home on these forums…(though it seems to be fruitful to post in the ADNM category).
