Continuous Icon Spin/Script Shield

At certain sites where I watch video, such as ESPN’s Sportscenter or PBS’ Frontline, my Avast icon spins continuously. The Script Shield seems to be the culprit, repeatedly scanning a http:/…/xd_proxy.php?version=… What’s going on here and is it an issue?

I’m not sure if I can link here, but if it’ll help anyone with this question ask for one.

I would guess that is correct if you are watching a video…then you have a constant stream of data comming in, so the icon spin

But as I stated, this only happens at certain sites. Most sites where I watch video or even live streams there is no continuous spin.

Do you have an example of a site where this is happening?
Also, please don’t forget to tell us which browser and OS you’re using.

Seems like the shield is scanning facebook, google and tweetme scripts on the first site while on the second it’s simply the web address.

Just to be clear, do you have SP2 installed?

Yes. SP2 is listed in my system’s Windows edition.

I should add that my avast! version is 6.0.1203. I have “update program” set to “ask” but I haven’t received a message to update. I noticed a new version just now on the forum.
