Continuous Malicious URL

Hi,

I’m getting a continual Avast popup message that it is blocking a malicious URL and wondered if anyone could help me with getting rid of whatever is causing it.

Info I’m getting off Avast Network Shield:

I’ve run a quick and a full scan in Avast (nothing) and followed the instructions for the logs (please find them attached). Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi @Fuelledbytea

Re-run OTL.exe.

[*]Copy and paste the following text written inside of the quote box into the Custom Scans/Fixes box.

[*]Then click the Run Fix button at the top.
[*]Let the program run unhindered; it will reboot the system when it is done and open notepad with logreport. Attach here that logreport.

Hi,

Please find attached the log report, I hope it worked, it crashed at the end and I had to force shut down.

But when I restarted the log came up.

Emma

This looks good, you have now Avast popup message?

Nope, it appears to have gone.

Thank you very much for you help and responding so fast.

OK Emma, run OTL and hit the CleanUp button.

I recommended to use MCShield if you will.
You may download MCShield from one of the following links:

MyCity - Official download link
Softpedija - Mirror download link

It will prevent infection by computer via USB flash drive, mobile phone or any other memory card.
And not only will prevent infection, but it will immediately clean flash drive, memory card or external HDD.

Brilliant! Thanks
