Tracking cookies are a minor issue and one of privacy rather than security, I go so far as not to have SAS even check for them. Periodically clear your cookies and don’t allow third party cookies in your browser (which is ?) settings.

To see only two detected is very low, so you must be doing something right, you don’t really have a big problem. Though I would block cookies for yieldmanager.com and adinterax.com as they are basically ad servers and they will serve ads based on the content of the cookie.

I don’t know because you haven’t said what your browser is ?
Some, like firefox can have extensions to manage cookies (I use cookiesafe) and I can enter the above domains and block cookies from there.

I don’t use IE (wherever possible) but it doesn’t have the same controls and flexibility to block cookies for specific domain names. I don’t know if there is some form of plug-in that can be used for that.

My default is FF, but IE 7 starts spontaneously specially with MSN Live.

Apart from your browser, another way to block certain cookies is to install this program here…

It covers Internet Explorer and Firefox plus some others.

Well I would suggest you get the CookieSafe add-on as it provides quite a range of options over and above just blocking domains.

Add the following to the HOSTS file as it works for all browsers:

127.0.0.1 adinterax.com
127.0.0.1 mi.adinterax.com
127.0.0.1 tr.adinterax.com
127.0.0.1 w w w.adinterax.com <== remove spaces between w in the HOSTS file
127.0.0.1 yieldmanager.com
127.0.0.1 e.yieldmanager.net
127.0.0.1 l.yieldmanager.net

Better yet use hpHosts and MVPS HOSTS files:

I manage them with HostsMan and I use its HostsServer proxy to speed up browsing:

Hi YoKenny,

You gave a click-able in your examples, so the unaware could get something you want to avoid with the 127.0.0.1 placed before it. Works beautifully inside a host-file, but not on a web forum. You could have inserted a space and tell the man about it,

I believe that you should remove the Immunize items with Spybot S&D before un-installing it.

Why not print them out and use a translation dictionary or Google to look up unfamiliar terms.

  1. Removed all immuziations & reg. entries using Spybot tool.

  2. Uninstalled & than reinstalled FF after a reboot.

  3. Starting from scartch to see what needs to be done.

In firefox, Tools, Add-ons, Get Add-ons and put CookieSafe in the search box and click the Enter key, see image.

Both adinterax.com and yieldmanager.com are already in the CS Lite blocklist. http://cookies.softwareblaze.com/

You can download the blocklist by right-clicking on the CS Lite status bar icon and selecting Update Blocklist.

You’re welcome.

yieldmanager.com blocks cookies from yieldmanager.com and all of its subdomains, including ad.yieldmanager.com. By the way, these cookies were not placed by Firefox, so Firefox couldn’t have blocked them in the first place.

CS lite alone is great…no malware or tracking cookies.

Is there a way to copy this list & add to blocked in IE>Tools>Options>Privacy>Sites>Block…or how to import from FF?
