Hello,
Lately (since several weeks) it happens to have this issue form time to time.
I download some applications (usually free, and mainly GPL or similar, LibreOffice, java, easytag, inkscape, Adobe Reader and so on - all installers). I have some place to download them, I move them after to some kits folder. When I try to move them, using Windows Explorer, some message saying the folder is open or the file is locked by another app comes out in some cases, or some files remain in the source folder, although they seem to be copied to the target folder (I have used WinMerge to compare them, they are no longer there, in facts, just displayed in t Windows Explorer, no matter how many times I refresh it by f5).
I have used Unlocker - which I don’t fully trust, btw, so I run it every time I need, not resident into the memory. It shows sometimes a tremendous number of Windows Explorer instances, but it can unlock all these and I could copy the files eventually.
Avast doesn’t complain about a thing. I have the Internet Security version (the one with firewall, not the free one) on Windows 7 x64.
Has anybody a hint?
Thanks,
Mihai Sorin Dobrescu
