corrupt master boot

i have 2 extra hard drives on my system. the third which holds my music and other stuff is the one with the corrupt master boot file. i believe that a virus did the work, but i cant even access the drive to do a scan. is there anyway to do a scan? the system is recognizing the hard drive but its not accesible.

Which operational system do you have in these three HDD?
Which system file (FAT32 or NTFS or other)?

Can you install Recovery Console into Windows as a system boot option and try to repair the third disk if you have XP.
