It says RPC error… i’ve tried the FAQ but didn’t work. (the one saying go to add remove programs and then click on repair thing)
i was trying to update and since it was too slow i clicked cancel and it got corrupted after that

Your post in the virus and worms forum seems to indicate you had avg installed before. There are still remnants. It looks like the update service.
my friend has both avast and avg installed and is working fine… i’ve been trying to uninstall avast but can’t…

The fact that it appears to be working fine is no guarantee that it won’t bit them in the a** one day. If and when that happens it could leave you less protected rather than better protected and at worst lock up your system.
If you have been trying to uninstall avast but can’t it may be that it didn’t install correctly possibly because of the presence of AVG.
Why can’t you uninstall avast what errors or symptoms are displayed ?
Two antivirus residents, sooner or later… problems.
