I purchased a medical device from RESEeRATE and I need to get into the forum to interact with others on it.
I can not get to it with Firefox, Pale Moon, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. I also tried a Gateway laptop with XP on it and I can not get to it from that computer either.
I posted in the Vista forum and the guy who answered me there said that he had no problem with it so the only other thing I can think of is that Avast is blocking it. I have Avast IS 7 on both of these computers mentioned.
The windows in each browser are a bit different. See screenshots. I did run the diagnostic for connection problems in IE and there were no problems.
I have no idea what your answer means. The router for my DSL is provided by my ISP and it is ZHONE. Is that what you mean? Like I said, I just have no idea what to do with the info you gave me. I need to be able to use this site so I have to get this figured out. The only thing that I know of that these two computers and all the browsers have in common is Avast.
This is the funny part. I can go to the RESPeRATE site just fine – no problem. I can click on the Forum and that opens just fine. It is only when I click on one of the posts that I want to open and look at that I’m stopped. Or – if I click on “Start new topic” I get a white, blank page and nothing else.
I’ve even tried Safe Mode with networking and it doesn’t work.
Now why would just one site give me this kind of trouble? I am not having another problem in the world with my computer. But I can not open a post in any one of these forums for RESPeRATE, and I can not “Start a new topic.”
I don’t understand why you you are having a problem with this website.
I just picked a random topic and copied so you could see that I have no problems with getting them to open. Thought it would be best to delete the members name.

I am new to trying to understand my blood pressure, and my reading just a few minutes ago was 185 over 80 with my heart rate at 57 bpm. This seems like an odd reading in the fact that my normal reading’s are around 150 over 90 with my heart rate in the 70 bpm range. I feel fine right now, although yesterday at work I did feel faint. But I associated that with being over tired (stayed up past 3 am then worked at 9am) and not having a chance to really eat anything most of the day. Any suggestions? I am going to try another reading after an hour or so and see how it looks.
You might keep a log for a week and see your doctor. Take your log. Could be something is out of whack. The pulse seems low unless you’re an athlete. Keep in mind, however, that a one-time reading doesn’t mean all that much. If your machine takes three readings and averages them, it’s best. Moreover, your BP and pulse changes all the time. So, you should take it at least twice a day and, in your case, probably four or five times until you see the doctor.
Please understand that not for a second did I doubt you were able to get into these posts. But do you have any idea where I look for this problem? Does anyone out there have any idea how I go about finding out what the problem is?
Have you tried using a different browser to see if that makes a difference ???
Any error messages ??? Is it truly blank or is the browser not able to open the site???
Look at the bottom left when going to the problem site for an indication.
Yes Bob, I have tried using Firefox, Pale Moon, IE and Chrome. They all give different messages but the result is the same. See screenshots.
I have also tried using a Gateway laptop I have with Win XP on it and get the same result there. I thought it had to be Avast because that is the only thing these two computers have in common. But I turned the firewall off and got the same result. I started in Safe Mode with networking and got the same result, so I don’t see how it can be Avast.
I’m sorry but I have no idea where you look for this problem. If you’re able to get on other websites I don’t understand why you can’t access and open the forum. How long have you had Avast? Have you interacted on the forum since you downloaded Avast?
I’ve had Avast for a long time and it has never blocked any websites.
