Could Not Connect To Server

So I just found out about avast and wanted to give it a try, I downloaded the free version for mac and everytime in try to install the program. It says “Could Not Connect To Server”. It cant by my internet right? Cuz at the same time I was on Skype/Discord and I had no connection problems there… i need halp plz ;-;

Im currently on Yosemite

Avast installer downloads a virus database from our servers during an installation.

Could you verify that you can download following file in a browser? http://download.ff.avast.com/mac/vps9/vps9.lat
If so, could you attach a system log (/var/log/system.log)?
