I tried over several days to log in, but was unsuccessful.
At times it would say loading forum then time out.
Other Times I would be told I was barred from the forum.
So this is the 2nd time I have had this problem.
I have registered again.
Now to go through those lovely Verification letters again

Forum timing out could occur for a number of reasons, unusually busy, another could be dealing with spammers as that process does slow the forum a bit.
If you tried logging in to your my.avast.com account on your browser, when you then connect to the forums in your browser, it should recognise that you are logged in via your account.
It would have helped if you could have taken a screenshot when it said you were barred and we could have been able to investigate. There have been a lot of spammers hitting the forums with telephone support scam, it is possible you were caught up in that, but we would need information to investigate.
