COULD NOT TURN ON AVASTFREE - STATUS IS UNSECURED

HI, INSTALLED AVAST FREE REGISTERED AND AVAST ACCOUNT SHOWS THE CONNECTED DEVICE AS UNSECURED AND AVAST IS NOT TURNED ON on my pc. If i try register again with same email id - after trying to retrieve info it says specified file not found. BUT WHEN I LOG IN MY.AVAST.COM I CAN SEE MY CONNECTED DEVICES BUT AS UNSECURED ONLY. HOW TO MAKE IT SECURED

You might go to the control panel, click on Avast and it will show uninstall and repair. Do a repair and it should work. After that reboot your computer. I’ve had to do that a few times and it always worked for me.

no avast in control panel. not even listed in add remove programs. in the meantime i registered offline and got the license key. but when i insert the key it say not a valid license key. my avast is still unsecured and unregistered,

  • Which OS? (32/64 Bit - which SP)
  • Which program version (8.0.1489 is the latest)?
  • Other security related software installed?
  • Which AV-Program was installed before?
