Couple of issues suddenly

  1. Opening the help file now results in the machine hanging for 2-3min, with a spinning curser and a blank help page. Then after 2-3min, the help file opens normally. Then if I don’t restart, the help file will snap open and closed as normal, but as soon as I restart, the problem starts all over again. I have tried multiple repairs, and even a full uninstall / reinstall to no avail.

  2. The latest stable Chrome keeps freezing when run in the sandbox. Blank pages with spinning cursers, and I have to close and reopen Chrome to get it to work.

I haven’t had any problems whatsoever before, and you can see my sig for system specs.

  1. Mine opened in 5 seconds, XP Pro SP3.

  1. No problem with Chrome sandboxed on my XP Pro system.

So a couple of XP x32 users are good. Any W7 x64 users out there experiencing either / both of these issues with AIS, or am I the lucky one?

The help file opens for me instantly though i am using the free version of avast.

I re-imaged and all is well now. IDK what happened.
