First off, recently, Avast has been blocking my Minecraft from connecting to my server. I do not know why this is suddenly happening. Is there anyway for me to fix this?
At the moment I’m forced to disable Avast for the duration of playing the game, which I am not happy with. I’d like to keep avast up.

Secondly, is there a reason Avast should be taking up 1.2mb download 400kb upload bandwidth chatting with Google? What is it doing with 80% of my bandwidth?

I took a look at Comodo, and it was reporting Avast as communicating with Google at 74.125.9.115:80, 173.194.55.206:80.
Those both go to Google, and are using HTML, but why avast, and not Firefox which is what I am using to connect to HTML threw.

that may not be correct.... all in/out request goes true avast webshield and comodo may see it as comming from avast

many posts here about that regarding Malwarebytes IP block … when mbam is blocking malicious urls and see it as comming from avast

Alright, if it’s not avast deliberately making those connection, then I’ll just have Comodo automatically terminate the connections when they are attempted.

As for Malwarebytes, I only use it to scan local files. I do not use it’s real time protection. The only real time protections I use is Avast, and Comodo firewall.

Also, today it reported avast connecting threw Akamai Technologies at 23.72.82.59 before switching to a Google IP.

Is there anything I can do to remedy my Minecraft issue?
