If so it is scanning something.
Which system does this happen on or is it both ?
If your inbox contains a large number of emails this could contribute to this activity if archive emails and email bodies are being scanned, see image. It isn’t advisable to use the inbox for general email storage, so more to a more appropriate folder according to the email content.
