Crash caused by ASWSNX.SYS according to Blue Screen View

This is a dual boot system with XP and Win 7 newly installed. I am using the free version of Avast 7.0.1466, it works great on XP Pro SP3!

I am only testing to see what software I can use with Win 7 before I change over all the way, if ever.

I am getting many BSOD’s with the title BAD_POOL_CALLER.

The minidump log is attached.

The auto sandbox is disabled I had read in earlier posts that this may be a problem… No more software will be installed as long as this nonsense continues.

Thank you

BAD_POOL_CALLER often indicates a bad driver. How you tried a repair of Avast?

For W7 :
Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > click on avast > click on Uninstall/Change > click on Repair from the left pane > then follow the steps.

Of course, you need to be on-line.
