Just upgraded from Avast 4.1 to 4.5 on two networked computers connected to a router. E-mail and Internet work fine.
When using Windows Explorer (file manager) to access computer 1 from computer 2, computer 1 crashes. It goes completely off and reboots.
If I access computer 2 from computer 1, I can access and copy files.
Before the upgrade to 4.5, I could access either computer from the other. If I shut down Avast on Computer 1, I can then access it from computer 2.
I have removed 4.5 completely from computer 1 and reinstalled 4.1. Now I can access either computer from the other again. Computer 2 still has 4.5.
Both computers use XP-Home SP2.
