CRITICAL PROBLEM!!! HELP!!!

:frowning: :frowning: >:( :frowning: Oh my god, WHAT HAS AVAST DONE?!?!? I ran the boot scan when I first installed the program, and now ALL MY .EXE FILES ARE GONE!!! THEY ARE ALL GONE!! I CANNOT RUN 99% OF MY PROGRAMS!!! DOES ANYONE HAVE AN ANSWER?

Did you set to automatically delete the infected files?
Do you mean the .exe cannot run or do not exist anymore?
Can you, right now, run an on-line scanning?
I suppose you have Windows XP… Do you have System Restore enabled at that time or not?

  1. Please calm down
  2. Tell us what the boot-time scanner reported (exactly), and how you responded. Also, you may post the contents of the file \data\log\aswBoot.log - it should contain all the details.
