Critical_service_failed BSOD restart loop windows 10

I have a DELL N-5110 with Windows 10 and I am using a Google Chrome Browser.

The problem I have is that the other day when I attempted to login I got a message that said:

“Critical Service Failed”

Then a message popped up saying that a repair was being effected showing progress from 20% - 100%.

Then the laptop attempted to “Reboot” but maddeningly it resulted with the same “Critical Service Failed” message popping up with the same “repair” being effected.

But no repair is accomplished and no matter how many times I attempt to login this cycle is endlessly repeated.

I am sending the request from another laptop since I cannot login to my own laptop.

Heretofore I had not issues with my DELL N-5110 so I am at a loss to explain what the cause of this issue might be.

I guess that is a Windows or Dell popup message?

I apologize. I should have been clearer.

I think, although not absolutely positive, that the message is from DELL.

The message uses the pronoun “We.”

I have search google for a solution but most of them regard getting this message but having the ability to access windows or features like “CMD.”

Others provide explanations which are far above my computer technical knowledge and skills.

So I thought I would inquire here for a solution to this issue in a language that a computer novice could comprehend.

I apologize for troubling this forum with my inquiry.

Not being a computer guru I had no way of knowing whether the critical failure was caused by a virus or some other sort of pesky malware which would fall within the Avast Antivirus arena.

Virus want your computer to work so it can do the malicious things it was designed to do, but yes it can happen if it was badly written, anyway if so they will find out at geekstogo.com
