I have just started with Avast Free and I am going to buy this software as its better than AVG. However, it keeps coming up as CRITICAL on my laptop and that I have outstanding updates on Internet Explorer.
Why is this as I have downloaded all updates.
You need to update Internet Explorer to latest version 8,9,10.
There has been an instance where the IE update was reporting the wrong minor update number to Avast hence the warning
