I have a couple of questions concerning a free xp theme program called Cyrstal.xp. If anyone here is familiar with it I’d like your input. First of all is it compatible with Avast? I’ve checked at a couple of sites for reviews including Softpedia and they said it is adware and virus free. Secondly I realize that if I download it I must create a restore point, but what I’m wondering is it a permanent change to xp, by that I mean if I were to go into display and choose a regular xp theme could I, and could I remove it in the usual manner. I’ve never downloaded any type of shell program before so I’m a little nervous. The themes look beautiful and I would like a change. I can’t understand what you are speaking about. Bricopacks? I’m not familiar with them. “Crystal” visual styles for StyleXP, for example? I’m using “Crystal dlb 2” visual style for Windows XP and think it’s nice for my eyes.

Please, be more precise.

I don’t think it really worth… There are software to customize XP appearance but I’m not sure this theme belongs to any of them, you know.
Did you test Microsoft Royale Media Center Style?

It’s a theme which is a cosmetic change.
Themes are changeable and not permanent, like changing the linnens on your bed.
This theme should have ZERO effect on avast!
