csrss.exe

I was going through my processes and found a process called csrss.exe. I googled and saw that there are 2 types, a good and a bad. I’m not sure which one I have. I can’t open the file location or end the process. It’s not taking up any memory or CPU time but I find it unnerving that I can’t open up the properties tab.

Is there any way to ensure that this isn’t the trojan type of csrss.exe?

Thanks.

PS - I ran avast and MWB and they came back clean.

Good. Now wait for Valinorum to help you. He is in training so his posts have to be reviewed.

Ok thanks!

The file is A-Okay. Are you facing any issue?

Nope, just checking through the processes to make sure nothing looks fishy.

Thanks very much for your help!

Happy surfing.
