Hello,

Since there is no more a singular scan for Internet Security, I would like to create a custom scan for the same. How can I do that?

Avast GUI → Protection → Scans → Custom Scans

Yes I am aware of the Custom Scan facility. What parameters(for Internet Security Only) to select, once there, is the help I need.

Well, it’s a custom scan, adjust it to your needs. :wink:

But if you ever been to the custom scan section you would know that the parameters for Internet Security arent well defined OR not clear to me as a lay man.

But since you seem to know, could you tell me what are those?

If you don’t know how to set it up you better use the predefined scans.

I don’t believe anyone knows the answer as there is absolutely no details in what you want to do.

What is this ‘Singular Scan’ that you are talking about ?
I still have the Avast Free 17.9.2322 version (so might be able to see the default settings) and I don’t see a ‘Singular Scan.’

For the benefit of others pfa screenshot of early days of Internet Security Scan. Now ofcourse the scan is bundled with Smart Scan. But if, is at all, possible to configure a Custom scan for only the Internet Security Scan?

Your image has nothing to do with which scan you are trying to replicate, whilst language and any translation could be an issue. But Asyn and I have no idea what exactly you are trying to achieve.

Nor would it seem the 100+ views on this topic, as no one else has even attempted to reply.
