Customer Service seems to ignore my request for Refund...no reply for 20 days

Hello to everybody!

I submitted two tickets where I requested to get refund for Avast Internet Security,first one before 20 days and second 5 days later and I’m not getting answer to this day.
My 30-day Money-back Guarantee will expire for 10 days so I would like to solve this problem before.

You have submitted your ticket prior to the 30 days so there should be no problem that way.
Also, unfortunately if more then one ticket is submitted that can delay the process not speed it up.
Refunds can take 7-10 Business Days (2 weeks) to process if there are no issues/backlog etc.
Patience will be the challenge :slight_smile:

You submitted your last ticket 15 days ago, that put you at the back of the que. So you have been waiting about two weeks. Wait times can easily go three weeks. Do not submit another ticket at this time or you will go back to the end of the que and start over again. They’re not ignoring it, you will eventually get it

Will reply to the last ticket(not submitting new ticket) do the same negative effect like submitting new ticket.

I’m not sure if replying (do mean avast replying) would have the same effect as creating another new ticket.

You could also use the on-line contact form, http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles for: * Sales inquiries; requesting a refund. since this isn’t directly related to the ticket system, it shouldn’t impact on the existing ticket.

You should give as much information as possible including your support ticket ID number.

Agree with you. Regardless of how good the avast! product is, if the Store end of the business doesn’t do their job properly, customers will leave and seek better
service elsewhere. You not only need the excellent product that avst! already is but, the service that goes with an excellent product.

I think many long time users have noticed the increased need for Technical assistance and Refunds, well at least that’s my perception.

Just quick report on my situation.
I contacted avast through this link http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles and they respond after 4 days.
They asked me if I have a problem blabla can they help me.I said that I want refund.I wrote that also in mail and in previous tickets which is obvious, but…
Since then 6 days have passed and there is no answer from avast.

Refunds can take 10 to 15 working days for funds to be transferred once acknowledged, transfers between banks are very slow unfortunately.

Good to see you got a response to your original ticket.
From what Avast team has said, it can take some time (2 weeks) for the Banks to actually receive funds after the request has been processed.

I understand what you are saying about transfer process and I don’t have problem with that.
But why can’t Avast just answer that they red what I wrote them and that I will get refund for 10-15 days.
This just leaves impression that they don’t give a shit about these requests…Just saying :stuck_out_tongue:
