Can anybody tell me what CVE-2007-0038 is, please? My avast! Home Edition found and quarantined it, but I think I may have picked it up on this site at the week-end.

Googling the virus name is always recommended action ![]()
Thank goodness I’m using Firefox. ![]()
the file is an animated cursor with some overflow exploit… it downloads some files to your PC… look for the file c:\t.inx - it’s related to the Zhelatin worm… we got the samples, some reliable detection will follow soon ![]()
Thank you for these responses.
I will Google in future, if that is the recommended procedure. I put the question here mainly because Search found nothing by this name in avast! and I assumed it would be acceptable to draw your attention to it.
Your assumption is right. Thanks for helping improving avast detection.
