d3d9caps.dat

Hello guys. So I ran a scan with some second-opinion malware scanners today just to see how long they take and such and I just tested Hitman Pro and ran a scan with it. Well, while it scanned it found a piece of malware called d3d9caps.dat in my C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. Hitman Pro categorizes it as a Trojan that is a “Fake AV”. I have no idea why it picked this up. I am using avast internet security and have run several full system scans before with it along with Malwarebytes and they have never picked this up. Anyone know what it might be? After a bit of googling I read that it is a perfectly legit process and pretains to your antivirus updates but IDK and I would like people’s insight on this =D. Thanks. I am running Windows XP SP 3

P.S.

I ran a scan of it with VirusTotal as well. It also found nothing.
