I have Daemon Crypt v2 public that I got when I downloaded Ardamax Keylogger, Ardamax is working fine but according to my Avast it says it’s some
Win32:CiaDoor-799
I just tried to Move to chest when It picked it up (As a test) but it said error that it’s being used ATM
Same with deleat but I never Ran the program…
???
Is this JUST a crypt program or am I going to get stuff If I use this to shut avast up about Ardamax

(ALso is there an Exclude list for On access protection? Avast keeps complaining about Ardamax and I want it there)

Yes VT results confirm a good detection.

If you have XP, vista or Win2k (all 32bit), you could enable a boot time scan. Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, a memory scan will take place followed by the opening of the Simple User Interface, Menu, ‘Schedule boot-time scan…’ Or see http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php. Don’t opt for deletion (you have no options left), always send to the chest and investigate.

Ohhh, I did not need to run a boot time scan, I used Mbams File Assisan and got rid of it but it’s still packed in my RAR archive.
Also,you did not have to Recommend a boot time scan. I would have done that had File assisan not worked,
I just want to know if It’s a Legit Crypt program or if it’s somthing worse.

Are you using Ardamax 2.8?

If you want to use them, put them on the Exclusions List. Use Wild Cards “?” or “*”. Daemon Crypt has always been detected as a dropper because it crypts (or encrypts) files that are hardly detectable.

Keep in mind that the files that are created with Daemon Crypt will be detected by avast!.

YES! I have Ardamax 2.8, I got it in a Rapid share file that Included Adamax and it’s remover, The Ardamax serial, An Usher song ( I have no idea why) and Daemon Crypt.
First off, If anyone has a newer Version of Ardamax keylogger and the serial please tell me.

I’m using Ardamax as my parents have been snooping through my files and im using it as a precassion in-case they try to pass word protect something or get into stuff I don’t want them in. Keep in mind that I am a Techie. It’s funny that I test AV’s and my parents keep snooping. what I don’t want them to see are my cracks/keygens and other software.
I am lightyears ahead of my parents and they don’t like that I do so much with the computer.
I also would like a Keylogger for Ubuntu as I have Ubuntu and Windows Xp X64 and I don’t want them snooping/Trying to put passwords on.
I would also like a Encryption program that can Encrypt files on the fly and to Unincrypt I would not need the program. I have Magical file shield which can do that but It’s on a GOATD license so if I redo Xp 32 then I could lose it and not have a good encryption program.

I did not come to this forum to start getting into a flame war about Parents. I simply want answers to my questions about Ardamax and Daemon Crypt. So please don’t try to tell me that “My parents know what’s right for me” and “You shouldent be keylogging you’re own computer so your parents can’t restrict you”
For most kid’s that’s a good idea but for me I am not an idiot on the web.

I would be careful using things like ardamax, Many of those things also silently install a server on to your computer by the author, basically who ever created it backstabbs you. And can’t you just encrypt your files?
