Daily automatic scan doesn't work!

Since the last update the daily automatic scan doesn’t work on my 2 smartphones and my tablet!!!

Manuell scan works, but after the end of the scan there’s no icon in the notification bar that shows, that the scan has ended.

Tablet:

TREKSTOR “VT10416-2”
Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)
AMS: 5.0.18 - 9064 - 955eff3

BEFORE the last Update to 5.0.18 - 9064 -955eff3 everything worked fine!!!

As I wrote:

Manuall scan works fine, but after this, there’s NO icon in the notification bar (as it was before)!

could it be, that there is a problem with the automatic daily scan after the last update, when you protect the avast-app itself with a PIN?

EDIT:

Tested again, Tablet is o.k. now!!!

…but both smartphones aren’t o.k.!!!

Possible Huawei problem is that the device is killing Avast Mobile Security after the screen is turned off. Try to go to Power management settings and set Avast Mobile Security as protected app (Phone Management app → Power Saving → Protected apps). I found this on my Huawei and now everything works fine.

I ALWAYS have avast! as a protected app at my HUAWEI Phones.

Thanks for your idea, but this can’t be the reason for the bug…

definitely we will investigate it further. We will let you know when something new appears - obviously you are not alone. Our QA engineers are experiencing similar issue as well (but very random occurrence, we need to dig into this deeper). Thanks for letting us know!
