Alright, i have some weird stuff goin’ on here, when i browse the internet (Youtube, Google, ect) A damn popup that is blank comes up… Heres the adress…

http://s3.amazonaws.com/g1r1/pu/pu.html

And i’m starting to get on my nerves, so could i get a littile help?

Hi,

Please download DDS and save it to your Desktop from here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/dds/dl/104/

Double click to run the tool, click the Start button.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. DDS.txt and Attach.txt attach back to topic.

My avast says it’s bad :l

DDS is safe.

Dont know how Avast comes to this.

Just ignore it… it is not uncommon that security programs flag other security programs

To avast it might be unknown program but DDS by sUBs is non-invasive diagnostic tool.

DDS is a program that will scan your computer and create logs that can be used to display various startup, configuration, and file information from your computer. This program is used in our security forum to provide a detailed overview of what programs are automatically starting when you start Windows. The program will also display information about the computer that will allow us to quickly ascertain whether or not malware may be running on your computer.

How do I know that any of this is legit? Has there been any progress on this issue? i.e. Any explanation of the cause/solution to this problem?

I am having the same experience. Every so often, say every ten clicks within chrome (I haven’t actually measured this) a window is opened and sent to the background. The window is blank. The address is (as above):

http://s3.amazonaws.com/g1r1/pu/pu.html

It is difficult to ascertain the trigger of this event. It appears to be random, but does happen upon click and at a seemingly consistent frequency. Avast is not curing this. Will try turning off all extensions within chrome.

If anyone has any info, findings or advice as to how to proceed. If running DDS is a diagnostic tool, has it’s use yeilded any results?
Would really like to slay this pest! Any help here is much appreciated!!!

Thank you!

How do I know that any of this is legit?

you find out if you start your own topic and attach the logs just browse this forum section and see....

I do not intend convincing someone to allow me to help him.

If someone thinks I’m here to spread araund malware and that diagnostic tools are malware itself, it just means that that person is then “old enough” to help themselves because obviously knows how to take care of malware and there computer.

Anyway, I’ll stop monitor this topic. If anyone here still wants help, perhaps one of my colleagues be willing to help…

I am sorry. I did not mean any offence!
I am only asking because I don’t know.
That is why I am here.

You have my sincere apology.

I searched the forum for the address that is popping up and found this thread.

If I understood I wouldn’t be asking. There’s some random popups out of no where while antivirus software is bleating and dancing all over. I have no idea what’s going on!

Why would you think I’m attacking your credibility? I’m just thoroughly confused.

Where are the logs from this thread? How do I know dds didn’t devour Dullsword4 and his computer after he was convinced to download it? Dullsword? Did you sort it out?

I’m just playing. But seriously. I’m not qualified to output logs. If I was, I probably wouldn’t have this problem.

As always, any help is really appreciated!

Magan86, I don’t know anything! By asking, I was not insinuating anything.

I don’t get any of this. :\ Sorry.

@ mobilone,

As Pondus says, start your own topic to get the help you need.
