Database error when installing new console

I get a SQL database error when trying to install the new AEA console. It appears it can’t upgrade the old database. I then reinstalled the old console and tried uninstalling, this time removing the database and it has an error also. Any ideas? Is there a way to manually remove the avast sql instance? I tried SQL server managment studio, but no luck.

I also tried the AEA maintenance app and can’t connect to the database either.

I figured out how to remove the database through add remove programs. Still working on installing.

from my understanding, you can use existing SQL if it is at least SQL 2005, you can use the same instance, but you MUST use a new database “avastent”
