Since this is my first post I feel it customery to introduce myself firstly. So, hello to all forum members. I’m Invocation from sunny Scarborough in N. Yorkshire, England. I’m very glad to have found what appears from the majority of reviews I’ve read that by choosing Avast as my anti-virus tool I’m making a good choice. I feel the next step is to get to know at least a few of you and ask questions no matter how trivial or dumb they seem (as far as I’m concerned, when it comes to learning something new, that is one of the best pieces of advice I’ve been given). I’d have to call myself a beginner looking at some of the threads although I’ve been using a computer since the ZX Spectrum days

So, on to the problem at hand (if indeed it is a problem, that’s how little I know)…
Avast keeps showing a pop-up with the mesage written in the thread title although the numbers it comprises change from time to time for example the final 3 digits changed to 175 once but since the message just pops up for not very long at all (or is there some way of viewing where this attack is coming from at my leisure?) it’s taken quite a while to actually write down the message. Sorry I’m new to all this and this is probably really basic stuff that’s available somewhere in the FAQ’s or help file. If so please just point me in the right direction.
I’m quickly getting sick of this thing popping up more and more frequently so if possible I’d like some help getting rid of it.
