Avast has started defaulting new tab and floods page with marketing shortcuts, newsfeeds and weather reports. I’ve tried removing tabs, turbo tax ad and turning off newsfeeds and weather and if I turn off or close out of Avast secure browser and shut down my computer then when I restart restart Avast secure browser auto-reset to marketing defaults. Does this mean I need to quit Avast, Avast Secure Browser and Avast One and remove all off my computer?
I just tested what you’ve posted and can’t duplicate it.
Closing the ad removes it as shown here,
