DeepScan:Generic.Graybird.B56FFAB2... Please help...

Hi
I’m having problems with a virus on my pc and just can’t get rid of the thing.
It is located in c:\windows\hg1.exe
I’ve attached a hijackthis log file, hope it is of any help.
I’ve even tried removing it with SDFix.exe but it just re appears on the next System Scan using BitDefender 2008.

Now I don’t know if it is this virus or some other one that is blocking me from Showing Hidden Files & Folders???

any help will be appreciated.
thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum. you have Hupigon

Download these two program

Please download Deckard’s System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
[*]Close all other windows before proceeding.
[*]Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
[*]When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt – please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

Please download the OTMoveIt http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/oldtimer/OTMoveIt.exe by OldTimer.
Save it to your desktop.

We can stop the service now, it may start again as there’s probably a few more files associated.

To stop the service

Click start, click run

type cmd click ok
type sc stop hg1 hit enter
type sc delete hg1 hit enter

Run the Deckard’s scanner and post/attach the two logs.
