Hi sz,

There’s a removal tool for NewDotNet here:

http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.ndotnet.html

Have you tried a boot time scan with avast!

Have you tried running Spybot and Ad-Aware in safe mode? (Tap F8 while booting.)

Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoft.de/

Have you run an anti-Trojan program?

Ewido (XP’Win2000 only) http://www.ewido.net/en/

Hi sz,

Yes trying to manually remove NewDotNet can lead to loss of the default gateway, read here: http://www.antisource.com/article.php/newdotnet

NewDotNet is foistware, that can lead to instability and slowness of your system. It is an inherent risk you run through P2P-ing.

As FwF tells you, remove it with the special removal tool.
