There should be a default option in settings in case you mess something up. Or is there one already? What do you guys think? 
There is a wishlist topic for such suggestions, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=12640.0, which is masive. However, you are way down the list of people requesting this for some considerable time. That and also a means of saving your settings so that you can import them in a new install.
