“yes” means ignore and “no” means quarantine
but when avast! ignores a threat it doesn’t mean that avast! totally ignores it, the infected file will be offline to all the progresses running in the system
so i assume(only an assumption) that the infected file will not be copied even you check on “Yes”, but the Vorteil is that this single file will be skipped and the copying of the other files can be continued instead of waiting there for you to make a choice until next morning~~
i set option to “Yes” - now i never saw a popup waiting for my choice, but my sync tool “Microsoft SyncToy 2.0” always crash at half of syncroniation with the error “no access to file x”
i tested it now several times, and i always get this error while copying files…
now i will test it without avast running - not my favorite way, but if there is no solution with avast -.-
ofc i am not sure, but if there is no other way…
…and it seems it wasnt avast, i stop the standard provider and the error occurs anyway - or have i to close the whole program?
