Define rules?

Would it be possible to translate that screen or post a similar screen from the English version?

i think it should be something like this  :

Okay, check Silent Mode and With General Answer Yes (OK)

yes--avast! will not touch the file, but then the file will not run and no progress has the access to it until a system restart

so if i check this option, the file will not be “touched” but also not “run” …

… what it means? it will not be deleted, but also not copied?

in my case, i copy a punch of files:

  1. it will skip the infected file and continue copy the other files?
  2. it will skip the infected file and stop?
  3. copy this and other files?

… and what does “No”?

I’ll leave this to the Techs, as I’m in over my head. Apparently your version is different than mine.

sorry i’m back late and thanks for the english screen
“yes” means ignore and “no” means quarantine
but when avast! ignores a threat it doesn’t mean that avast! totally ignores it, the infected file will be offline to all the progresses running in the system
so i assume(only an assumption) that the infected file will not be copied even you check on “Yes”, but the Vorteil is that this single file will be skipped and the copying of the other files can be continued instead of waiting there for you to make a choice until next morning~~

german?

sry for off-topic

i set option to “Yes” - now i never saw a popup waiting for my choice, but my sync tool “Microsoft SyncToy 2.0” always crash at half of syncroniation with the error “no access to file x”

mb this appears cause the option “yes”?

Yup, it means ‘advantage’.

i tested it now several times, and i always get this error while copying files…
now i will test it without avast running - not my favorite way, but if there is no solution with avast -.-

but if there are real viruses are found, these files should be quarantined or deleted!

or are you sure that these files aren’t dangerous?

ofc i am not sure, but if there is no other way…
…and it seems it wasnt avast, i stop the standard provider and the error occurs anyway - or have i to close the whole program?
