Deinstallation via Internet

Hi,

is it possible to de-install Avast Mobile Security via Internet out of MyAvast account?

Thanks in advance,
ctb

… or is possible to change USB debugging settings via Internet?

I can’t get access to my phone any more, so it would be helpful
either to change these settings or to de-install the whole Security Suit.

Thx.

No, it is not possible to uninstall through the internet.
That would beat the purpose of the security.
If you could do it, other could do it as well.

If you tell why you can’t access the phone, perhaps we can help.

It wouldn’t beat the purpose of the security since you have to log into your account,
where YOU the only one should be, who knows the password.

Anyway… is there a possibility to get rid of the USB debugging control via Internet?

Background: parts of my display doesn’t work any more, so I cant get access because
of the security pattern request… e-mail doesn’t work cause of WLAN, adb doesn’t
work cause of AVAST, which controls the USB debugging. :-\

Indeed, you SHOULD BE the only one who knows it.
But don’t forget that many people store their login details, either in the browser or a application.
Recently there was a hack on a newspaper system.
The employees had their login details on those sticky notes on their monitors and that could be seen in a news item. ;D

As far as I know there is no option to disable usb debugging through the internet.
Have you checked the manual, perhaps there is something in it you can use ?

Seems to me the only option you have left is to have the phone repaired.

Problem solved… started TWPR, loaded file manager, deleted /data/system/gesture.key 8)

That is good news
