Deleted my Virus Chest where are the viruses going.

Hi group, I do like Avast, did a quick run on my computer (os x 10.11.1) and it showed a couple of viruses and it was stopping two from the web but I found out I got rid of my virus chest on a system crash a month ago. Wondering if I can simply create a folder in the Documents called Virus Chest and where are my files if I don’t have the chest as originally mentioned.

Hello,
virus chest has a fixed location “/Library/Application Support/Avast/config/chest-data”. It’s unlikely that a crash would delete a folder but if so it is necessary to create it in this location (you need root permissions to do so).
