Hi, if I have a suspicious residing in the Virus Chest which subsequently is found not to be a virus, I have restored the file after right clicking and selecting restore but what I want to know is whether I can now right click and delete the file or will this delete the restored file as well ?

Deleting the file in chest won’t affect the restored file.

Presumably if I had deleted the file first I would not have been able to restore, but restoring first to its original location then deleting in the Virus Chest is the correct way leaving the restored item intact as it was before being quarantined ?

when you restore a copy is left in chest…just in case something goes wrong
