I am trying to claim back some disk space.
Almost 1Gb is taken up by files in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\ng\NgBase including snapshots and dat files
I don’t think I even have NG. Deepscreen and secure virtual machines are switched off in settings.
But I am unable to delete the folder. It is locked in the OS (Windows 10) even with administrator privileges.
Any idea on how to get rid of it?

Which component would I need to remove?

NG doesn’t run on W10 yet, afaik.
I suggest a clean (custom) reinstall.
