dell printer not working with avast. talked to dell said it was avast. i had avg it didn’t work also any body else have this problem and how did you fix it.

Because of what? Any error message? What is “not working”?

Between my family, my friends, and I, we use just about ever major brand (Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson, HP, Kodak, Lexmark, etc.)of printer and all of them work with Avast.
Please give us more information so that we can try to help you.
says not communicating with printer. i have reinstalled works for awhile then sets in queue not do anything.
What is saying not communicating with the computer. There is no subject in your statement so none of us are going to know without you telling us.
Hopefully you have checked already and this might sound like a silly question but have you check that the connections are pluged in properly and if printer spooler is set to auto under services in computer management.
