Sorry but you’ll probably need to download the latest version and reinstall the program. The problem is caused by the fact that the original pre-release version (that you installed) did not have some of the anti-piracy mechanisms. Unfortunately, the later version relies on these to be in place, and is therefore blocking the updates now.
