Deploy Avast! Managed on Windows 7

Hi!

I have a proble with the deploy of Avast! Managed with the ADNM, when i want to deploy the NetClient, i have the error "Failed(0x00000005) in the task and in the AMS Journal → Remote installation i have this : (My installation was in French).

The user for remote installation is the Domain Admin
On the Remote PC (MX-IT-Steven), i have open the file sharing port in the windows firewall

But nothing can do, how can i resolve my problem ?

Sometimes this happens on Windows 7 and I haven’t been able to pinpoint the actual cause.

Actually, I’ve installed Avast 4.8 on 35 Windows 7 machines that were all cloned and had 3 or 4 give me a problem for whatever reason, yet the rest worked fine.

My workaround was to create a standalone MSI package and deploy to the few machines that were having the problems manually.

Have a look at the ADNM manual for instructions on how to create a manual install package:

EDIT: Also, I fixed a few of them as well by just trying over and over again. Eventually some of them worked. If they didn’t, I manually installed.

We have it running on a few hundred Win7 machines, and it typically deploys fine with the msi package.
