Deploying avast for Win Server 2008R2 throught ADNM 4.8

Hi everyone.

I’m using avast! Professionnal ver. 4.8.995 (Sept 2009).
I try to deploy avast! on systems using the ADNM console. Those systems are windows server 2008R2 or Windows 7.

When I start the deployment task, i have an access denied error. Nevertheless, it works on windows server 2003 or XP.

An other question : does ADNM 6.0 exist ? Where can I find it ?

Thanks for your support.

What about Windows firewall on your clients? When it blocked access, ADNM cannot install managed client.
As I know, ADNM 6 does not exist yet. ADNM Connector for Avast 6 is in development.

Hi,
There is no firewall on my clients.
I tried to disable user acount control, but it still not work.

Thanks.

i have not seen ADNM deployments work on 2008 or Win7, ADNM has not been build with those 2 OS’s in mind and yes they differ a lot from 2003 and xp.

Best is to use MSI installer

There is ADNM v6, its called SBC, its a new product and it depends on how big your environment is that you want this.
see the Business Protection

Rumors have been around that there will be a v6 connector for ADNM but as far was we know here those are still only rumors and the release date is somewhere between now and when hell freezes over

OK, thanks.
I finally depolyed with MSI packages and using GPO.

Thanks all for your support.
