When I was running a avast scan on my mac, I discovered that there was a warning saying that one of my files is a decompression bomb.
I know that decompression bombs are really dangerous…This is what AVAST said: ERROR 42110 This file is a decompression bomb
This is the path:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MediaKit.framework/Versions/A/Loaders/MKDrivers.bundle/Contents/Resources/bootroot.loader
The file name is bootroot.loader
Should I delete the file or something???

I know that decompression bombs are really dangerous...
used to be in the old days .... never seen it in use
avast is just telling you it is a file that will unpack to a very large file
upload the file to www.virustotal.com and test with 40+ malware scanners
post link to scan result here
alternative: www.metascan-online.com / www.jotti.org
It can safely be deleted: “bootroot.loader” is a system file. “bootroot.loader.dmg” is not.
