desktop gedget is missing W7

Hello my avast has done a new update and since the update my desktop gedget has disappeared and is not longer in the gedget install box on my widows7 ultimate 64bit. I like to see that put back if it can please as all my icons in bottom menu bar is limited/removed as i only use this pc for gaming on.
I have no plans on upgrading to windows10 i like my older games and they don’t work on windows10

Microsoft removed the gadget support long time ago.

Yes i know this but i still use my cpu meter and ram meter and the avast gadget on my desktop as i have 3 monitors i have alot of desktop that’s free its a very handy thing when you have ripped out most of the garbage installed by windows that is not needed. The avast gadget is the only way i can see that the avast software is running ok and it was working fine until this last update.

As you are aware Microsoft dropped support for desktop gadgets (security) a long time ago and so has avast as far as I’m aware.

This was some time ago so I’m not sure what avast version you were using before this update.
