Hi,
I’ve recently had my phone repaired and the card changed. Thus I’ve supressed the old instance of my phone and reinstalled the app.
But since then I’m unable to get it fully on myavast: it appears, but when I access it I only get “WE ARE SORRY, BUT DETAILED INFORMATION FOR DEVICE XXX IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE.”
I thought I’ll wait but it’s been 3 days now, doesn’t seem normal…
Thanks for your answer.
My phone is a Xperia z3 compact, running Android 6.0.1 and anti-theft 4.2.0.8278. The exact same used to work fine before repair.
GPS is not enabled every time, but has been from time to time since reinstall.
Phone appears in my account under a default name (D5803, which is the model), with a green crest.
I had the same problem and received the following message from Avast when I raised a support ticket with them:
Thank you for contacting Avast. Unfortunately the “We are sorry, but detailed information for device SM-G935F is currently not available.” is a known bug that sometimes appears on devices running Android 6. For an unknown reason the info sometimes cannot be obtained right - what results into the error. We are investigating the problem but unfortunately for now we got no workaround nor solution for it, my apologies.
I am really sorry for such unpleasant message. If you wish, I can eventually contact you back once a solution will be available.
Same problem here since today ONLY (yesterday it worked) for ALL of my 5 Android devices (3x v4.* + 2x V5.*).
My other Windows devices (PC W10) are still correctly displayed in my.avast.com (at this time !).
This seems to be a general Avast problem with Android devices (but no information from them yet …)
Hi, i have the same issue from this morning. I tried to update the application, but I have not solved. Wich way to solve? Uninstall and reinstall the application may fix this issuein your opinion?
Same here
7 of my 11 listed Android devices just got this message all at the same time. 4 other Android devices are showing fine, but they are running the old avast version for Android 4 (with root protection) as far as I remember.
Seems more like a problem with avast.com than with the android phones themselves.
Please fix this!
Same thing happened with my 3 devices suddenly this afternoon I also have the avast premier. Which sucks to pay for something that’s I can’t utilize not sure if I’ll be renewing at the end if this month if it can’t be resolved very soon. About how long has this issue been for others?
