Hi,
ok, I tested this. I burned a cd with this setup.exe and scanned it with other virus scanners (Antivirus, Norton) on other machines. These programs never found a virus. So I tried a CD which I burnded last week on this machine with avast home installed. Last week I didn’t get a virus, today i got! What that?

u could easily scan the setup.exe files(if they are not large in size) at http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and see if the file(s) is a virus… its propably a false positive…

You could also check the offending/suspect file at: VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner I feel virustotal is the better option as it uses the windows version of avast (more packers supported) and there are currently 32 different scanners.

Check out this link, it related to Inno Setup Installers, perhaps this is the same, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=28149.0. If so it may have been resolved by the latest VPS update 000738-1, update and scan again.

Hi,
thanks for your answers. Yes, I create my setups with inno setup. Since the VPS Update Version 738-1 everything is fine, no virus will be detected on my setups! Thanks for your help.
