Device losing sync after updating to Windows 10

Hello,

I had Avast Business Security installed on several Windows 7 devices. I upgraded some of these devices to Windows 10 but now Avast is telling me the device has not been synced for more than 14 days.

Do I have to reinstall Avast? How to I force them to sync?

Thanks.

Could you please share which version (and build number) of AfB client do you have? Is it the latest 12.1.2512 release? Also please ensure are 3 mandatory services are running

  • bcc.exe Business Console Client
  • AvastSvc.exe avast! Service
  • bccavsvc.exe Avast! Business Console Client Antivirus service

Yes I am using the latest version 12.1.2512 (build 12.1.3076.0).

I ended up doing a repair install and it started syncing again.

I had the same problem on a few machines that have upgraded to the Windows 10 anniversary update. AfB version is 12.1.2512 (build 12.1.3076.11).

We are releasing a new AFB Console, and client this week which should resolve bugs in the last release. More details to come when it has been released.

Thanks AFB Support.
