I just installed a newer version of Free Avast on my dad’s computer.
He is on dialup and every time he opens Avast it tries to connect him to the internet.
This did not happen on the last version.
Is there a setting I can change?
He is set up for automatic updates.
And connects by modem.
I’m not near the computer now but I did have it set to update only when online by dial up modem.
I don’t remember the exact wording of what I checked in the options area.
