I can’t find Avast! Home 4.7.1074 to download despite it being listed as a new build on Avast! site. Or is it just me… probably.

Never mind. I should have thought of this earlier. I found the previous build, installed it and then updated internally. Good to go.

I believe there is a program update due soon, so I guess they might want to hold 1074 rather than have two program updates in a relatively short time, there was very little in 1074.
You will notice that I have it installed as those who are regular forum visitors find out before we would normally be notified in the auto update process.

This is off topic a little and I don’t want to sound like a DA here, but it’s been over 7 days and I still have no notification of a program update. This computer is a laptop wirelessly connected to a router that’s connected to my desktop. I get the database updates automatically just fine.
Well yes, you are right. The automatic update [notification] has been “stopped” for this program build (in the sense that the 7 days period has been extended to a much longer time, so most people won’t see it).
The build 1043 should be replaced by a new update in the beginning of the next week - with the usual 7 days spread, hopefully.
